The LEED Green Associate ® credential denotes knowledge of green building principles and practices and LEED. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

Craft House, with Horwath HTL and other strategic partners including the World Wildlife Fund, conducts research on the business of sustainable tourism. Studies highlight sustainability best practices emerging in the hotel sector with case studies that provide an insight into the motivation for and impact of sustainable practices.

Craft House provides free consulting services to non-profit organizations including EGBOK Mission, which provides vocational training to underprivileged youths in Cambodia, and the Bali Community Based Tourism Centre, which facilitates the development of underutilized villages into tourism villages. Mark is currently a board member of organizations including Film Aid, Kenya Education Fund, and the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. Craft House is also the organizer of TEDxVictoriaHarbour.
